Waqar is an ICC Level 1 and PCB Level 2 cricket coach with 11 years of coaching experience. He played for Sialkot’s U16 team in 2009 and the U19 team in 2010, and attended NCA camps for both age groups in Lahore. Waqar also competed in the Inter Senior District in 2011 and played Grade 2 cricket for Sayed Paper Mills in 2012. He participated in the SOI Northern first-class NCA camp and has served as the coach for the Ajman Cricket Council’s U16, U19, and senior teams for four years. Additionally, he has worked as a side-arm specialist with the Pakistan A team, ILT20, and the national teams of New Zealand and Afghanistan.
